Description
ArcGIS is an integrated collection of GIS software products that provides a standards-based platform for spatial analysis, data management, and mapping.
Audience
U-M community members who want to display their data on a map or floor plan. Typically such data includes ZIP codes, state names or room numbers.
Access & Training
No special access is required. Training is available through U-M's Center for Statistical Consultation and Research (CSCAR).
System/Application & Data Sources
The software is installed on campus computing sites PCs and is available over the web through virtual sites. You can also install ArcGIS on your own computer.
Cost
The software is licensed for free distribution and use by members of the University community.
